Warehouse worker
As a warehouse worker at Delta Engineering, your responsibilities will include the following tasks:
You will handle the receipt of goods.
You will also be responsible for dispatching spare parts and machinery. In doing so, you will ensure that our (large) machines are packed correctly and securely to guarantee safe transport.
You will ensure accurate order picking for our internal work orders.
Thanks to your efficient stock management within our supply chain, you will help support the logistics chain.
You will be responsible for day-to-day stock management.
Your profile
You have a sense of order and tidiness and are meticulous.
You are someone who works independently and is not afraid to take the initiative.
You are sociable, have a hands-on approach and work well with your colleagues.
A good basic knowledge of English (spoken and written) is an advantage.
A good basic understanding of technical matters is an advantage.
Experience in warehouse management or another logistics role is an advantage.
Experience with warehouse management software packages is an advantage.
You should ideally hold a forklift/overhead crane certificate.
You have knowledge of MS Office and are proficient with a PC (warehouse management via an ERP package).
